The Foundation’s Patient Resource Center library offers a treasure of cancer-related materials. Our lending library is stocked with an updated selection of educational and inspirational books, magazines, pamphlets, and audiovisual materials as well as computers to access bookmarked Internet cancer sites for research on up-to-date cancer information. Meeting space is also available to cancer-related groups and other health organizations.
The Foundation offers educational materials such as the Cancer Resource Roadmap resource guide and the Cancer in the Workplace DVD to the public. Our annual Young Adult Cancer Survivor Retreat offers both a weekend community of camaraderie among typically isolated young adult cancer survivors and healthy survivorship resources.
Cancer patients also find support and hope in the Nashville area American Cancer Society Hope Lodge library, funded and maintained by The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation.
